Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating as the final studio album released during his lifetime, the provocative French icon heavily integrated contemporary hip-hop aesthetics and synth-funk drum machines into his sound. The conceptual narrative follows an aging protagonist pursuing a young woman through New York City, delivered in his signature smoky, talk-singing style.
