Album Notes & Community Reviews

Paying heartfelt homage to the legendary composer Dorival Caymmi, Gal Costa delivered a sublime interpretation of his classic Bahian songbook. The arrangements tastefully update the traditional material with elements of samba-rock and MPB grooves, perfectly suiting her crystalline and passionate vocal delivery. It stands as one of her most cohesive and beloved interpretive works.
