Album Notes & Community Reviews

Featuring complex arrangements by Gilberto Gil and Dominguinhos, the album effortlessly glides between bossa nova rhythms, lush pop stylings, and experimental textures. Released during the height of the Brazilian military dictatorship, the provocative cover art was heavily censored and famously sold wrapped in opaque blue plastic.
