Ruckus

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating closely with underground hip-hop producer Dan the Automator, the New Orleans jam-funk stalwarts radically update their traditional sound. The live instrumental grooves are heavily subjected to digital processing, scratching, and creative sampling, successfully bringing a distinctly modern, urban edge to their renowned instrumental prowess. It stands as a highly successful fusion of classic funk musicianship and contemporary electronic production.
