Album Notes & Community Reviews
Multi-instrumentalist Heinz Strobl, recording under the moniker Gandalf, debuted with a sweeping, melodic fusion of symphonic rock and ambient space music. Heavy on Mellotron, acoustic guitars, and celestial synthesizers, the album helped define the European new age genre with its profoundly peaceful and cinematic sonic landscapes.
