Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating at the nexus of the Brooklyn noise scene and global rhythmic traditions, the collective's breakthrough release eschews conventional song structures for trancelike, percussive jams. Lizzi Bougatsos's wordless, improvisational vocal wails serve as an additional instrument amidst the dense thicket of tribal drumming and erratic electronic interference.
