Album Notes & Community Reviews
Returning after a seven-year hiatus, the veteran New York experimental group delivered an incredibly lush, ambient-leaning pop record. Heavily inspired by Shoji Goto's calming environmental art, the album largely abandons their early tribal-punk chaos in favor of gorgeous, floating synthesizer atmospheres and Lizzi Bougatsos's ethereal vocal harmonies. It serves as a beautifully mature, highly peaceful late-career highlight.
