Album Notes & Community Reviews
Art Garfunkel's highly anticipated solo debut leans heavily into meticulously crafted, lush baroque-pop arrangements, distancing himself from the stripped-down folk-rock of his former partnership. Produced by Roy Halee, the record is characterized by sweeping orchestration, intricate vocal harmonies, and carefully selected material from contemporary songwriters like Jimmy Webb and Paul Williams. The sweeping, cinematic production perfectly frames his iconic, angelic tenor voice.
