Album Notes & Community Reviews

Vibraphonist Gary McFarland offers a remarkably breezy, accessible take on the Brazilian music craze with 'Soft Samba'. Applying his trademark wordless vocals and lush, easy-listening orchestrations, he reinterprets contemporary pop hits like 'A Hard Day's Night' through a gentle, lounge-ready bossa nova filter.
