Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as the final chapter of his mainstream hard rock era before fully embracing the blues, 'After the War' is a blistering showcase of Gary Moore's guitar virtuosity. The album incorporates prominent Celtic melodies alongside driving, metallic hard rock, featuring notable guest vocals from Ozzy Osbourne. It remains a powerful testament to his fiery, technically flawless approach to 80s heavy metal.
