Album Notes & Community Reviews

Attempting to reverse declining record sales, the British synth-pop pioneer enlisted Bill Nelson for production duties to modernize his sound. 'Warriors' adopts a prominent slap-bass and funk-inflected rhythm section, augmented by smooth jazz saxophone lines and slick new wave textures. The album's troubled production led to Nelson demanding his name be removed from the final credits.
