Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in London, 'Dingo' recast the Inverell-born folk singer as a laid-back interpreter of standards, built around his deadpan cover of Cole Porter's 'I Get a Kick Out of You'. It remains the commercial peak of Shearston's long career in the Australian folk boom.
