The second solo effort on Flying Lotus's Brainfeeder imprint finds the KNOWER co-founder exploring sophisticated harmonic structures and dense vocal layering. Recorded with a full band including Louis Cole and Pedro Martins, the compositions bridge the gap between technical jazz fusion and avant-garde pop. The record conceptually addresses the permanence of love through a lens of high-energy instrumental interplay and multifaceted arrangements.
