Album Notes & Community Reviews

Gentle Giant's final studio album continued the group's late-career attempt to streamline its complex progressive rock identity for a more direct rock market. 'Civilian' keeps traces of the band's intricate musicianship while emphasizing shorter songs, harder guitars, and more conventional pop-rock structures.
