Album Notes & Community Reviews

Famed primarily as the launchpad for future AC/DC frontman Brian Johnson, this Newcastle quartet's debut album is a raucous, working-class blast of glam-tinged hard rock. The record relies on stomping, Slade-esque rhythms, loud guitar riffs, and Johnson's unmistakably gravelly, high-register screech. Capturing the energetic, unpretentious spirit of the British pub rock scene, the album successfully spawned the hit single 'All Because of You'.
