Slide

Album Notes & Community Reviews

George Clanton's album 'Slide' is a glossy fusion of electronic pop, trip-hop, and vaporwave, marked by its earnest and emotionally direct songwriting. The production blends loping, 90s-indebted drum loops and layered synthesizers with reverb-heavy vocals to create a sound that is simultaneously nostalgic and fresh. Through its synthesis of genres, including chillwave and hypnagogic pop, the album explores themes of loneliness and love with a distinctive, dreamlike atmosphere.
