Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded largely with his former Frank Zappa bandmates, George Duke's 'The Aura Will Prevail' is a wildly eclectic, synthesizer-heavy explosion of jazz-funk fusion. The album notably features two dynamic Zappa covers ('Echidna's Arf' and 'Uncle Remus') alongside deeply groovy, playful original compositions that highlight Duke's virtuosity across various electric keyboards.
