Album Notes & Community Reviews

Serving as his final album for Apple Records, 'Extra Texture' finds the ex-Beatle adopting a notably subdued, keyboard-heavy blue-eyed soul sound. Following a poorly received North American tour, the deeply introspective and melancholic songcraft reflects a period of significant personal and critical reassessment.
