Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during a period of profound disillusionment with the music industry, 'Gone Troppo' reflects Harrison's increasing desire to retreat from public life. Refusing to promote the release through conventional channels, the resulting collection of breezy, synthesizer-laced pop and island-influenced rhythms proved to be his final studio effort for five years.
