Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rebelling against the highly polished pop-crossover trends dominating Nashville, George Strait's debut album ignited the neo-traditionalist country movement. 'Strait Country' relies on authentic honky-tonk instrumentation鈥攑rominent fiddles and pedal steel鈥攑aired with his effortless, unadorned vocal delivery, yielding the breakout hit 'Unwound'.
