Album Notes & Community Reviews

Commanding a phenomenal West Coast orchestra, the arranger delivers incredibly rich, fiercely swinging charts deeply influenced by modern hard bop complexities. The brass sections roar with remarkable power and precision, providing a dense, swinging foundation for extended, fiery solos from legendary sidemen. 'Moment of Truth' is widely celebrated as one of the most vibrant, dynamic big band statements of the 1960s.
