Album Notes & Community Reviews

Celebrating a remarkably fruitful transatlantic partnership, this release pairs the venerable Ethiopian saxophonist with the fiery Dutch avant-punk collective. The recording captures M猫kurya's fierce, vibrato-heavy horn playing propelled by the polyrhythmic, unyielding drive of the band's dual-guitar assault. It serves as a stunning testament to the cross-cultural pollination of traditional East African melodies and European underground punk energy.
