Album Notes & Community Reviews
The New York-based collective orchestrates a brilliantly lush, deeply warm conceptual homage to the vintage aesthetics of exotica and classic space age pop. Weaving vintage radio sampling with deeply rhythmic, highly melodic psychedelic soul and jazz-funk instrumentation, the record feels wonderfully nocturnal and distinctively retro. It is an incredibly mellow, flawlessly arranged cinematic triumph.
