Album Notes & Community Reviews

The Los Angeles duo's debut album gained immediate attention for its revival of 1990s grunge and shoegaze aesthetics. Annie Hardy's cynical, heavily sarcastic lyricism and fuzzy, detuned guitar riffs define the group's slacker-rock attitude, contrasting sharply with their deceptive, cutesy visual branding.
