Gidon Kremer recorded 'Hommage 脿 Piazzolla' with an ensemble modelled on Piazzolla's own quintet, including bandoneon player Per Arne Glorvigen, in sessions at Lockenhaus Castle and Studio Guillaume Tell in Paris. Its eleven tracks are all by Astor Piazzolla except 'El sol sue帽o', a homage by Jerzy Peterburshsky, with arrangements by Sofia Gubaidulina, Jos茅 Bragato and others and liner notes by John Adams.
