Album Notes & Community Reviews

Jamie xx remixes Gil Scott-Heron's final album 'I'm New Here' into a pulsating, bass-heavy masterpiece. He recontextualizes Scott-Heron's weary vocals amidst garage rhythms, steel pans, and rave synths. It is a respectful and innovative tribute that bridges two generations of musical pioneers.
