Album Notes & Community Reviews

Continuing her profound partnership with David Rawlings, the singer-songwriter's sophomore effort leans into an even darker, more archaic vision of Appalachian folk. Produced by T Bone Burnett, the incredibly sparse acoustic arrangements perfectly match the bleak, traditional narratives of murder, sin, and profound rural sorrow.
