Album Notes & Community Reviews

Captured during his wildly successful theatrical tour, this seminal live album perfectly encapsulates Gaber's pioneering 'teatro canzone' (song-theater) format. Alternating between profoundly cynical, politically charged spoken-word monologues and highly melodic, acoustic-driven folk-pop, the performance offers a biting, satirical critique of Italian society and the failure of post-1968 revolutionary ideals. It remains a towering intellectual achievement in Italian cultural history.
