Album Notes & Community Reviews

Glen Campbell's 'By the Time I Get to Phoenix' became a crossover sensation and was the first country album to win the Grammy for Album of the Year. Anchored by Jimmy Webb's timeless title track, Campbell bridged country and pop with the help of the renowned Wrecking Crew. The pristine production established a refined template for late-60s countrypolitan.
