Album Notes & Community Reviews
Despite an extensive career fronting The Frames and The Swell Season, 'Rhythm and Repose' serves as the Irish musician's first official solo release. The recording deeply reflects a period of emotional exhaustion, featuring incredibly stark, confessional ballads built primarily around his weathered vocal delivery and acoustic guitar. The project beautifully highlights his profound ability to convey intense vulnerability through minimal folk arrangements.
