Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Abulum' marks the solo debut of Glen Phillips, following the initial disbandment of his alternative rock group Toad the Wet Sprocket. Eschewing the polished pop-rock of his former band, the album embraces a stripped-down, folk-oriented singer-songwriter aesthetic. The intimate recording focuses on Phillips' earnest vocal delivery and reflective lyricism, creating a melancholic yet hopeful set of acoustic-driven tracks.
