Album Notes & Community Reviews
Stepping entirely away from the punk and heavy metal of his primary bands, the iconic vocalist released this ambitious, fully instrumental solo project. 'Black Aria' utilizes lush synthesizers, choral arrangements, and operatic vocal samples to score the mythological fall of Lucifer. The dark, cinematic release unexpectedly topped the Billboard classical crossover charts, highlighting Danzig's broad compositional interests.
