Album Notes & Community Reviews

Launching his solo career following the acrimonious split of the Eagles, the singer-songwriter crafted a slick, heavily R&B-influenced pop-rock debut. Guided by his enduring collaborative partnership with Jack Tempchin, the record features the hit single 'The One You Love'. The project successfully established his viability as a mainstream adult contemporary hitmaker for the 1980s.
