Album Notes & Community Reviews
'String Quartet, Op. 1' documents Glenn Gould as a composer rather than as a pianist, presenting his chamber writing in a modern classical idiom. The recording offers a less familiar view of Gould's musical interests beyond Bach interpretation and keyboard performance.
