Album Notes & Community Reviews

Tracking directly to two-inch analog tape with producer Erik Rutan, 'Constricting Rage of the Merciless' perfectly captures the raw, unhinged live energy of the New Orleans extreme metal veterans. The record offers a blistering, groove-laden intersection of black metal atmosphere, death metal brutality, and punk-infused thrash riffing. The analog recording process resulted in a thick, organic sound that heavily favors the band's relentless percussive drive.
