Album Notes & Community Reviews

'Man Made Object' finds GoGo Penguin translating the repetitive, sequence-driven structures of electronic music into an entirely acoustic piano trio format. The group utilizes driving breakbeats, rumbling double bass lines, and crystalline piano melodies to mimic the aesthetics of IDM and techno. This innovative approach effectively bridges the gap between contemporary jazz improvisation and modern club culture.
