Album Notes & Community Reviews

'v2.0' established GoGo Penguin as innovators in the modern jazz scene, blending acoustic piano trio instrumentation with the stuttering rhythms of electronica and breakbeat. The Manchester trio creates a sound that is both organic and mechanical, driving forward with loop-like precision and melodic hooks. It is a genre-defying record that appeals equally to jazz purists and fans of Aphex Twin.
