Album Notes & Community Reviews

Navigating the new decade, Dutch rock veterans Golden Earring infused their traditional hard rock sound with the sharp, melodic hooks of power pop and new wave. 'Prisoner of the Night' features a noticeably slicker, radio-oriented production, highlighted by the energetic hit 'Long Blond Animal'. The stylistic pivot successfully maintained their relevance in the rapidly shifting European rock market.
