Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming with producer The Haxan Cloak, the veteran electronic duo returns to the icy, dance-floor-oriented synth-pop that defined their early 2000s material. The album heavily contrasts stark, mechanical electronic rhythms with Alison Goldfrapp's ethereal, breathy vocals and mystical lyricism regarding nature and pagan imagery. It is a highly polished, nocturnal exercise in futuristic club pop.
