Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded shortly after Daevid Allen was denied re-entry into the UK following his tenure in Soft Machine, Gong's debut is a wildly eccentric, beautifully acoustic-driven oddity. 'Magick Brother' is an incredibly quirky, fiercely playful Canterbury Scene classic, balancing wonderfully peaceful, highly melodic psychedelic pop with deeply spiritual, drug-fueled space-rock mythology.
