Summertime Dream

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Achieving massive commercial and critical success, this album represents the definitive peak of the Canadian icon's 1970s folk-rock era. The deeply evocative storytelling is famously anchored by the haunting, true-life historical ballad 'The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald', which became an unlikely smash hit. The pristine, acoustic-driven production perfectly supports his warm, melancholic baritone throughout the record.
