Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fueled by Beth Ditto's powerhouse vocals and fierce political conviction, this breakthrough record injects driving disco beats into raw garage-punk riffs. The defiant title track, written in response to the federal push against marriage equality, became a definitive indie-dance anthem of the decade. The album significantly elevated the trio from the underground to global festival stages.
