Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut studio album by The Gossip, 'That's Not What I Heard' packs fourteen songs into 24 minutes of punk blues in raw, lo-fi form. Distorted guitars, abrasive rhythms and Beth Ditto's commanding vocals define the record by the Olympia trio of Ditto, Nathan Howdeshell and Kathy Mendon莽a, formed in 1999 after relocating from Searcy, Arkansas.
