Album Notes & Community Reviews

On their highly anticipated third album, 'Deep Sage', Florida's Gouge Away pushes their sound into new atmospheric territories without sacrificing their post-hardcore ferocity. The album sees the band embracing textures from shoegaze and grunge, creating a sound that is both heavy and hazy. Christina Michelle's vocals shift from blistering screams to melodic, sung passages, navigating lyrics of frustration and introspection. It's a dynamic and powerful evolution, cementing their status as one of the most vital bands in heavy music.
