Album Notes & Community Reviews

British bassist and composer Graham Collier directs a sprawling, unconventional large ensemble on 'Symphony of Scorpions'. The compositions rely heavily on extensive free jazz improvisation layered over complex, shifting thematic frameworks. It serves as a formidable example of the ambitious European avant-garde jazz movement of the era.
