Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded across various highly resonant spaces in Venice, this collaboration between two acclaimed sound artists is a masterclass in acoustic minimalism. 'Gondolas' utilizes subtle field recordings and highly abstract instrumental improvisation to weave an intensely quiet, haunting atmosphere. The album blurs the line between deliberate composition and the ambient noise of their physical recording environment.
