Album Notes & Community Reviews

Graham Parker achieved the absolute zenith of his snarling pub-rock career with this fiercely passionate, remarkably tight new wave crossover. 'Squeezing Out Sparks' is packed with incredibly energetic, highly melodic power-pop anthems, driven by Parker's wonderfully sarcastic, deeply anxious songwriting regarding romantic desperation and urban life.
