Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of his legendary backing band The Rumour, the British songwriter teamed up with producer Jack Douglas and renowned session musicians like Nicky Hopkins. The resulting polished sound alienated some early pub-rock devotees but yielded the hit single 'Temporary Beauty'. It captures Parker transitioning into a more slick, radio-friendly phase of his career.
