Album Notes & Community Reviews
On 'Miracle Music', the instrumental group's ninth LP, Grails synthesizes elements of new age, ambient jazz, and neoclassical composition into their established psychedelic post-rock framework. The album often features a meditative and devotional quality, using hypnotic rhythms and Eastern-influenced ornamentation alongside synthesizer-heavy tracks inspired by 1980s electro and film scores. This work continues the stylistic expansion seen on its predecessor, 'Anches En Maat', creating immersive sound-worlds that are simultaneously sensuous, luxurious, and experimental.
