Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded in 1962 but shelved for several years, this session finds the legendary jazz guitarist playfully interpreting a collection of traditional western and country themes. Backed by a sparse trio, his incredibly fluid, bluesy single-note lines expertly recontextualize the Americana source material.
